of love and friendship

I wrote this post once I landed in India land.

Part I of Ajiera

I went to Pekeliling Bus Station last night right after work. My first time there. While waiting for her bus to arrive, I persuaded Honey to walk to some sort of Pasar Malam opposite the bus station. Bought a nice cute green t-shirt with a picture of drums, Music! I like! Heheee.

She arrived around 1am. Saw her walking towards our car, I realised how much I miss this girl. Hmm...so much to tell, so much to share but so little time we have. Sigh.

Reached home around 1.30, was too tired to even layan her so I excused myself to bed (I actually felt guilty about leaving her alone in the other room, but I needed sleep badly and also to accompany Honey to sleep). He gotta wake up early for work the next day & I needed some rest before flying to India.

Next morning, woke up at 8ish, after sent Honey to work, we started talking, after a long long long time. Missed doing this, felt like hostel life again :).

After hours of updating each other, frying keropok lekor, flipping through old pictures, watching cute guys on TV and gossiping about anybody ;p, it was time to say goodbye. I needed to get ready and she needed to see her Uni friends :(

Went to NZX to have lunch before sending her to nearest LRT Station.

Part II of flying

We actually decided to leave home at 4.30pm to airport but feeling sad, Honey and I spent the one hour left on bed, cuddling each other. I didn't know why, but I felt so sad to travel this time. Urm. That's love, for you people! So we left home at 5.00pm instead.

Arrived at airport at 6ish, checked in, headed to McD for some drinks. And when the time to say bye-bye arrived, I burst into tears.

Urm...I wonder why we had hard time this time :S. By the way, some pictures for you here. Can't write anymore. Feeling sad. Want to sms Honey.

P/S: I miss you, baby!

Foodtiam, NZX Ara Damansara

So yea, last night after work, we decided to go to NZX for dinner. Reached there, sent our car for car wash at one of the shop lots at the back side for RM5 (paw Vacuum), we headed to the outside part where most of the makan places are to look for something to eat.

I saw Foodtiam next to Station One.

So why not to give a try, right? So we went in and had our dinner there. Overall, the food was not bad but most interestingly, the service is superb. I know I am weird, I always prefer good service rather than good food. Maybe because I am not so picky when it comes to trying new/local food of any new places I go.

So I had Penang Asam Laksa and Honey had Nasi Lemak with Rendang Ayam. They also have WiFi service there (I think this is pretty common these days). I took the chance to try the internet connection and it was not bad for free internet connection. Though Gmail was having some problem with the layout. Maybe they limit some sort of proxy (I am not sure this is correct or not haha, I just heard Honey said something like this) for Gmail.

The best thing I had was Cham Peng. It's ice yin yong in Hokkien which is a mixture of Tea and Coffee with milk. Ahhhhh refreshing. Something I would rather change with my Milo Ice.

I also like the decorations there. It is cosy and nice. They have some nice paintings of old buildings and some type of comfortable chairs /couch for side seating and those type of traditional chinese marble chairs and tables. Honey likes that :)

And yes, they also have their own website. I was so excited to visit the web and get a better picture of this place but unfortunately it's still under construction. Check out http://www.foodtiam.com

So if you feel like trying this place, look for Foodtiam which is located at NZX (Nizexui, Ara Damansara).

Last two nights, my grandma came to my mum's place with durians :) :). She has an orchard in Kampung and believe me, the durians taste so much better than the SS2 ones :)

And since today is Friday and I won't be around until next week, I wish you a great weekend dahlings! Don't party too much. Let's hope that I will have internet connection there in Mumbai!

Cheers!

Sambal Udang for Diana

My sweetheart asked me for Sambal Udang's recipe on Facebook but I feel like showing off (on my journal) so here it goes :) ;

Very easy darling.....

You need;

1. Prawns (fresh one cause the unfresh prawns will make the sambal taste bad) -To peel the skin
2. A lot of onions - To blend
3. Dried Chili (choose the not so spicy ones, choose by smelling them, if it smells too strong, try not to use cause we need a lot of them to make the sambal looks red enough and nice. So if it is too spicy, you can't even enjoy it. Also can cut them to small pieces and soak in hot water for 10 mins (to reduce the spiciness) before blend them) - To blend
4.Sugar, Ajinomoto, salt, cooking oil

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Blend the onions, dried chili together.
2. Tumis with a lot of cooking oil (the more oil, the better it taste- trust me though its not healthy heee) until long enough. Recommended until half an hour until 45mins. Don't leave the stove cause the sambal can get burn very easily and spoil the taste. Keep stirring.
3. Put the salt, sugar(a must) and Ajinomoto (if any). Stir.
4. Put the prawn and petai (if any) and stir for only 10mins.
5. Eat until pengsan!

Note: When I say a lot of cooking oil that doesn't mean the whole pan full of oil. Lets say, a quarter of cup?
